I see on the Lee Oskar Harmonicas website that Lee is celebrating 30 years of harmonica production. After begining my own personal harp journey in the 1990's and after blowing out many harps I discovered the Lee Oskar and have been blowin' on 'em ever since. Ultra reliable and comfortable in hand and on lips I think they are great. I have a few other makes of harps and enjoy these too, but the Lee Oskar remains my go to axe. Of course Lee is also a great player -thanks Lee

"Of course Lee is also a great player" You know it! A little mentioned master, nobody plays as clean as Lee.

@Stokes Yeah thanks lee, I agree..
Years ago my teenage daughter said to me 'do you want to come to a gig tonight (in Bristol uk) the band is called War.
I just did not think, but the day after, she phoned me and said 'what an amazing harp player with black curly hair.'
Of course it was Lee and I missed it. Oh well I'm old enough to have seen Zappa and Beefheart..

I think what Lee has accomplished-- grabbing a notable share of the harp market-- is pretty remarkable. Incidentally, War's current harper is no slouch at all. quite the opposite.

Great player, can't stand his harps. But congratulations are in order.

These days Lee Oskar is playing in the Lowrider band. Of the seven original members of WAR, five are still living and four are in the Lowrider band. I too have used Lee's harps since the late eighties.
