Great stuff. I was just listening to Kim on youtube last night...he is phenomenal! and....,damn if that ain't Daryl Mansfield in the background.(long haired scruffy lookin hippy thug, and incredible harp player, too).(first clip). What a treat.
Kim and the T-birds began their multi-city tour here last night. "Blues at the Crossroads" a night celebrating Muddy Waters and Howling Wolf. This was primarily a T-bird concert with Bob Margolin (awesome), Tinsley Ellis, Jodie Williams and James Cotton each showcasing a few tunes. Yeah, Williams and Cotton are getting up there, but didn't disappoint. Cotton took a few songs to figure out the audio (Kim finally just gave him his mic) but warmed up nicely and performed Cotton Jump at the end. All in all, very entertaining night. Kim delivered!
