Thank you so much for posting this. I notice Kim is using his Fender Brownface Concert amp here. Superb tone from that amp.

Kim is playing through a Brown Vibrolux-you can see it clearly at 5:20-plus,the control knob setup is unique to the Brown Vibrolux.

The Vibrolux came with a 12" speaker, but Kim may have swapped out the speaker.

That old raggedy amp is Kim's original 58 Bassman.

it was most likely a 12 " speaker
i did not look that close
i quit worrying about that stuff a long time ago lol

tons of people were standing there with cameras
hohner records all that stuff and puts it on youtube
all you have to do is enjoy the show

it sounded even better in person
that is a hard gig, it is early in the day people are up close with cameras still the band tore the roof off

What a treat.

Kim and the T-birds began their multi-city tour here last night. "Blues at the Crossroads" a night celebrating Muddy Waters and Howling Wolf. This was primarily a T-bird concert with Bob Margolin (awesome), Tinsley Ellis, Jodie Williams and James Cotton each showcasing a few tunes. Yeah, Williams and Cotton are getting up there, but didn't disappoint. Cotton took a few songs to figure out the audio (Kim finally just gave him his mic) but warmed up nicely and performed Cotton Jump at the end. All in all, very entertaining night. Kim delivered!
