One of my favourite tracks. What I like about this is the way he seems to settle into little patterns (the repetition of the chord at the start, somehow making the major third work), then chops it all up with a new sound (the cutting bends at 0:15). Another example is the octaves followed by the double-stops from 0:19-0:36 ... itself followed by that thundering drainpipe note at 0:37, changing things up again. And check out the octave at 0:42 with that crying bend down at the end - a tragic sound!

...I'm getting excited about it again, but obviously I can't go on like this. You've probably heard it before, but listen again:

@Jodan... Thank you I had never heard that before, and I don't blame you for getting excited.

I'm beginning to understand why he is held in such high regard.

LOVE Big Walters style, always my favourite. Played it to death.
Anyone else wondering why he is held in such high regard, I suggest you check Hard Hearted Woman, Trouble in Mind, Everbody's Fishin', Don't get around much anymore and Walters Boogie, just to name a few.

Not to mention Jimmy Rogers track Walkin by myself and Easy also another killer is Jimmy Rogers track called if it ain't me. Big Walter was a monster. Took me forever to learn that real subtle vibrato he did on easy. He had some really really great techniques and can never run out of licks to steal from him haha.
