Good news,Just heard an interview with JW on WFDU radio in NY,
he confirmed Jason is recording with his band.

Great stuff! It's so cool that Jason gets to record with Johnny just like his mentor did. I bet he's really stoked about it.

Yeah you right Y'all! Did the recording, just 1 song, they gave me two passes then dismissed me. It was so so fun, got to hang with Johnny and hear some great stories including some about the Rev. Pat Ramsey. Was a dream come true!!!! Johnny is in great health and is super present, funny and ripping hard musically. White Hot and Blue.

I haven't seen JW for a while. How is he going? Last time I saw he actually stood up to play a couple of songs, which seemed encouraging. But his voice was still very weak, and his playing was subdued. I haven't been able to bring myself to look for a while.
Oh, ok a few posts in the meantime. Cool! Glad to hear he is well! Really glad. He was such a hero for me for such a long time

WAS 14 WHEN Johnny's first album came out shaky horton played on it.
they used to say he's better then eric clapton skinnier then keith richards and whiter then jimmy page. I think Jason plays harp like J.W. plays,going where no one else can can't wait to hear it
b.t.w. johnny also plays a mean harp on some of his
early records

Johnny's Drummer is a friend of mine. His name is Tommy Curiale. He used to be the drummer for Rick Derringer, and his Fiance played saxaphone for my band. Jason, was he in the recording session with you?
