With the possibility of HMV shutting down I"m ensuring my gift cards are all spent just in case they might one day be worthless. Picked up this inexpensive Jmmy Rogers cd as it features Rod Piazza. Knew of Mr. Piazza but had never heard him. Outstanding. Very reminiscent of the only Muddy Waters band I saw live when George Smith was in the band. The original vinyl was released in the early 80's and this expanded cd came out on Blind Pig in the 90's. Several great Piazza instrumentals.

Yeah that's a pretty good album. I seem to recall that Rod Piazza produced that album. The best work by Piazza in my opinion is on the albums "Harpburn" and "California Blues".
