I had the iPod on "shuffle" in the car. Suddenly I'm hearing "lost John/fox chase medley" performed by Joe Filisko, from Barrett's History of the Blues Harmonica concert album. Look, I really don't care if its old hat, this is just awesome musicianship. I understand why a guy could get passionate in admiration for Joe's playing. I probably don't want to hear it all day, but I felt like standing up and applauding. Man, I've only got a pretty basic train/fox chase repertoire and im not really much of a fan of the style, but ive done enough, heard enough to enable me to understand that joe is a real master of this stuff. Ole! My hat is off to you JF! ----------

SuperBee I agree, I attended a class of his "secrets of country blues", and it was a real pleasure to hear him do the train imitation. Having Joe explain what he was doing, and being able to ask questions all the while was fantastic.
My own train imitation is better than it used to be, please excuse me I must go to the woodshed.

One other thing before I go to the woodshed, practicing your train imitation "Joe insists" is a great way to improve your throat vibrato. ChooChoo!!!
