#1 of my new harp amp demo series is up. the "Guardian Wig Dryer" - my DIY Lone Wolf 6L6se amp. I tried to get decent audio with one close mic on L channel, one condensor room mic on R channel. As noted in the video description "tone deficiencies are purely self inflicted".

When we get our Bay Area Harp Amp Club going - we can do some with those amps featuring some other players.

Sounds great! Goes to show that small amps are often the way to go for recording!

Great tone, both the amp and you. Love the look of your "Wig Dryer", and the the really great thing is that when she gives you back that wig, you'll be able to dry it.

Bonedog - Thanks for posting that I enjoyed listening to it. That DIY 6L6 amp sounds good. It'd certainly be interesting to hear some of the different amps and mics when you guys get to testing them. The variety of abilities and playing styles through a selection of amps would be a useful resource for people looking to buy amps and mics. The only suggestion I have is that you you turn up the mic when recording your speaking voice as it's very quiet and can be hard to tell what you're saying.

Thanks Joe, - it was great to finally meet you in person. I enjoyed what you did onstage too.

Kingly, - good point. I'll turn off the delay and speak through the amp mic on the next one, - or turn up the room mic.
