I'm just looking for observations & percived differences (if any). It's not an embuchure thread per se, I'm not specifically asking anyone to identify such (nor asking you not to). Just observations, bear in mind I have played all 3 to the best of my ability & tried not to infer any bias. You may need headphones.

Hi Mark, Happy New Year :o)
First two sound is very similar. Third has more treble.
Definition most in the third too.
I'd say lip purse on the third.
Nothing inbetween the first and second as they both have the rounder tongue blocked tone. ---------- The Pentatonics Reverbnation Youtube

The first embouchure sounds like the most practiced and what I would guess you are most comfortable with.
I wish the clip was longer, I might make a guess. I'm thinking the third has the potential for greater dynamics and tonal spectrum.
Mostly I wanted to bump this back to the top for more comments.

Mark - Ok if I had to guess at embouchure, here's what I think.
The first sounds more relaxed and comfortable for you to play than the others, so I'd guess it's your normal embouchure and tongue blocked.
The second sounds like your struggling near the end of it. I'd guess it was mixed embouchure.
The third sounds like you seem to be struggling more. I'd guess it was lip pursed.
Personally to my ear the first has the roundest sound, with more tonal character and definition than the others. In my opinion that would be the one I would persevere with.

Thanks for the input guys, appreciate it.
First one is U-block. I only started messing with playing a few notes with this in the last couple of weeks, seriously trying to string it together in the last few days. Loving it. Feel, I dunno, just more connected? For some reason, since I started with this I have realy realised how much I was under utilising the 3 blow. I'll be aiming to use this primarily, mixed with TB.
Second is TB, my default embouchure, my most comfortable way of playing.
Third, as most deduced, was the pucker. I only usually pucker top end blow bends, sometimes draw bends on low key harps, for a bit more tightness/definition.
I thought they sounded much more different when playing, but isn't that always the way ;-) Doubt I could have differentiated if listening to the clips in isolation from each other.
