Paul Jones announced the forthcoming gigs by the Walter Trout Band up till 30th October after the gig at Exeter which was recorded live by the BBC
I was gobsmacked to hear no mention of Jason Ricci who will be appearing with Trout at Wolverhampton, Leamington Spa, southampton and finally on 30th at Sheperds Bush Empire
Missinformed or what, I dunno', but that is some serious mistake from the current president of the UK National Harmonica League

Perhaps it would be a good idea to e-mail him about the omission. The one time I met him, I couldn't imagine a more accommodating or decent fellow.

It might well be a contractual thing stipulated by the promoter for promos... after all it is a Walter Trout tour - not a Jason Ricci one. They don't want the rising star guest musician to overshadow the main artist.
Just guessing about this, but I'm sure Paul Jones knows about Jason.

Jason Ricci's UK tour
Is anyone going to one of the non-London shows listed below? I live in London but I can't make it on the Friday night (my dear ole mum is in town, and do you know what? there's one person in the world who I wouldn't ditch to watch JR, and it's her).
Therefore I'm considering travelling to one of the other shows. Anyone keen to meet up?

I have e mailed him at the bbc but that is always replied by the automated reply; however I don't think its contractual MrV, and Paul has, to my knowledge never mentioned JR or played his stuff..lets see..

Jones is also a devout born-again Christian; maybe Jason's sexuality and the occult imagery in DWTD are not to his tastes? I really hope that's not the reason though. I'd lose a lot of respect for him if that was the case.
