Can someone on the forum explain the difference between the Super and regular cruncher.I know at one time Gary was selling kit to upgrade.I own a cruncher and I chose not to upgrade @ the time.I seem to remember as it being a different bottom baffle in the rear, but mine looks like the one in the ebay pic.Is it closed off and just not visible in the pic?

Looking at this amp on Ebay I see another difference.
The 8 inch Weber speaker is on the bottom. On mine the Weber is on the top.To anybody out there who got the upgrade,Did it make a significant difference?
It is an awesome amp as it stands.

I just realized all of the speakers are Webers.I mean the 8" with large magnet is on top.

A Super Cruncher has a bigger output transformer.

The speaker set up on my SC is identical to the ebay photo. The original Crunchers had a 12" & a 10" speaker before changing to the 12" & 8's.

JD is right. The Super Cruncher had a larger output transformer - added about 5-10W of power. Also IIR Gary swapped the location of the 2 8's.

A little birdie (reliable sources) told me the guy is cashing it in for a BMri - and some fun money. - Not me, I think SJ's are great - but I never owned one.
