My wife recently bought a dry sink at an auction that somebody had converted to a stereo cab. Had a combo AM FM receiver, turntable, tape and 8 track deck. So that would make early 70's I guess. Got some 45's and both kinds of tapes with it. Also a couple of microphones. These mic's are about 4 3/4 inches long and a little under 1" diamater at the widest point. One says Zenith and the other doesn't have a name but has an off/on switch with sort of a crown shaped logo on it. They sound wonderful with the harmonica. Partly because I can get a good cup with my small hands I suppose. I don't have any idea what kind of element they use and hope somebody here might have some thoughts. They are plastic so will have to handle with care but they are going to my nexe gig.

Alot of the Old Tape recorder mic's and Ham Radio mics were good harp mics Many of the field radio mics for the service has the same Shure American White CM 99b86 element as the Bullet mics of that time. If I'm not mistaken the little Sonotone stick mic I have was originally a recording mic. And RCA, Zenith, Columbia and many of the larger companies would subcontract mics and/or electronic parts of mics from Shure, Astatic, American and Turner
