some people arent as savvy with their computers as others regardless of how long they've had em... i think if someone would spend that energy on learning the harmonica instead of replying only to flame the OP, theyd probably be happier and better for it. Now....sorry sparrow, i could only find references to those vids listed above, and I KNOW HOW TO USE GOOGLE...
Took me 3 seconds on yahoo, keywords "little walter koko tailer" and I got "1967" and I aint that savvy. I also got a link to Amazon "The American Folk Blues Festivals DVD) that includes the performance... go for it guys! ---------- DutchBones Tube
You could only find references to those videos, because the clips from the American Folk blues Festival tours of Europe are, I believe, the only known video of Walter. I think there is a third clip from the this series somewhere...

Personally I think it's a huge epiphany that answered MANY questions I have pondered over in regards to his playing. I've lost sleep trying to figure out half that shit and the videos helped immensely.
There's so much one can learn about the blues harp playing by just actually listening to these videos of him.
Most of the time you don't know what the hell he's doing because of his insanely overdriven amp setup. Hearing him on acoustic and seeing how he does it is amazing.
The story goes that LW was unhappy when he had to play in front of a regular mic stand and share the mic with a band member . This way he could not cup the mic and that seriously affected his performance..... not because he couldn't play away from the mic, but because he didn't WANT to play away from the mic. This is what occasionally happened (sharing a mic) when he toured in Europe in the sixties, including the video above.... (don't ask me where I read it, cause I don't remember, sorry) ---------- DutchBones Tube
I don't wanna sound funny, but I just typed little walter into google and clicked on Videos.
From what I can see at a quick glance, there's quite a bit of stuff there, including a little - excuse the pun - documentary with interviews and stuff. ---------- 'If it sounds GOOD to you, it's bitchen; if it sounds BAD to YOU, it's shitty' - Frank Zappa
Yeah, but no video of Walter playing live other than these videos mentioned here. Most are just still publicity photos superimposed over studio recordings.
