A looped version of one of my favourite Irish Reels: "The Corner House". It's in Am, played on a G harp in Paddy Solo tuning:

Cool stuff - and a great workshop at the NHL by the way.

Brendan, your playing is extraordinary. It looks like you’re really starting to become comfortable with new gear and starting to level out the effects. There was just enough delay/reverb to really enhance the harp here, very nice.

One thing I noticed on this clip, and I’ve noticed it before, is that your base line has a lot of sustain. It’s has almost a polyphonic type feel. The whole time I was thinking Mongolian Throat Singer.

I’d love to hear you do a loop with a similar base line and play something with say a North-East Asian feel over the top.

Also, I’d be curious to hear the reel played over a base line that is a little more crisp…something with a little space between the notes.

Brendan, I only toss stuff like this out to you because I know you have a broad musical influence and are technically capable of pulling off many different styles of music.

Thanks for posting your stuff here and letting us follow your journey…you are a big inspiration.

My wife liked this, as did my 19 month old son :^)

Neither are harp players
