A short film featuring some of my snapshots and a music soundtrack "composed" by yours truly. The idea behind the music was to get a feeling of the free jazz improvs of Ornette Coleman, Coltrane, only less galvanic. Hope you enjoy this experiment. All comments are welcome.--tb

Fantastic! More! Wow. Even loser, please, more "galvanic". A great experimental idea for harp. I spent some years playing free improvisation drums/percussion with a few musicians here in the Santa Fe area. At times a brilliantly creative experience. Why not free improv harmonica?! "Post Modern post blues" harmonica? Hmmmm.
I used to put on Miles Davis albums "Live at Fillmore" and jam along with the likes of Corea, Wayne Shorter. the open ended, poly rhythmic style and choppy, cranky, angular solo style wsa great stuff for someone with a harmonica and a good, fuzz tony amp. ---------- Ted Burke http://youtube.com/watch?v=-VPUDjK-ibQ&feature=relmfu ted-burke.com tburke4@san.rr.co,
----------Thanks for the recommendations. I have some Derek Baily and David Murray. I will check the others out.
One of the best "outside" jazz discs I jammed to is Out to Lunch by Eric Dolphy. It is great place to sook for spaces to add my own improvs, where to sense where the spaces should me, to discover new start positions .
