RJ is well known to folks here. He's only uploaded eight videos to his channel; the eighth just came over the transom this week, and it features a wild-ass audience response and some 90 degree rotation of the video frame--a drunk cameraman?--that together create a heck of a lot of energy.
On this one, looks and sounds like RJ has seen Kim Wilson do his slow blues first position stuff and absorbed it pretty well, including some theatrical hand motions that Kim uses.
I first saw Kim do almost exactly this in Detroit at the Majestic Theatre in his early Kim Wilson Blues Band project, to help promote his first series of blues CD's - including that high end blow bend stuff while strolling through the audience. Good stuff, indeed. ---------- The Iceman
