HI Guys, I have just recently aquired an excellent set of harp tuning tools and Steve Bakers Harp Handbook which describes various tuning techniques but I fancy something a bit more up to date so can anyone suggest a good DVD which teaches customising technique etc.

I agree. Rupert's vid is great.. It is a 2-set series and he goes over some good concepts and techniques.

i have ruperts video and it is reaaly good--covers embossing=tip scoop=arcing--tuning and more worth the money- i have ruined many a harp learning- buy $60 12 key set of 'johnson; harps--there horrible- but only $ 60 for 12 key set--practice embossing on those first-and arcing etc--also i love theprice 469 FOR 12--IF U GET INTO IT,your gonna bend some reeds--learn how to use screws to replace-i have finally decided on hohner crossover -like the tuning- the reeds are already fairly straight and close off very evenly in the reed slot---also no one that i know can get suzuki ind reeds-with hohner all your sp 20-golden melody -crossover--marine use the same reeds and are interchangeable--plus u can order any individual reeds from hohner=trust me u will bend reeds learning-- still learning myself-what can do well is replace reeds-tune when take my and don't bend reeds rushing-mediocre at arcing-mediocre at embossing--DON'T OVER EMBOSS--AND USE AN OIL--FORGET WHICH TYPE-to lazy to check--that guy in europe sells a cool embossing tool --check u tube---also--don't laugh-- get a microscope and a backlight--SO MUCH EASIER TO DEAL WITH BURRS-any way im still learning as well hope tis helps
