Heard it today on Sirius Bluesville as the news came in. A legend. I am sorry I got interested in blues too late to hear her on person. Great right to the end in life and her legacy will be around longer than we will.

Proud to have seen Koko Taylor. May she RIP and her family find solace during this time of sadness.

I discovered Koko Taylor just a few weeks ago. I didn't know she was still alive. Sad news indeed.

Koko headlined our local blues fest here in Kitchener Ontario, three or four years ago. She had some pipes. Had to, to be heard over her band. She was superb. A big loss to the blues.
