Just like the "Amp Prices" thread.
Name off mic prices, specs, and "thoughts about the mic".

BlowsMeAway mics. On the expensive side, and worth every penny. Just ask anyone who owns one.
OK, ok, shameless self promotion. I couldn't resist.
But like anywhere else, the old adage is true - you get what you pay for.

you cant realy name prices on mics unless its something custom made like from greg. or a brand new mic. vintage mics will sell for what ever the seller wants for it. i paid $400 for my 1940's brown bullet with black cr element. after playing through it i dont feel bad at all paying that much. plus that fact that its rare also adds to the price. mine has the smaller shell, factory chrome grill, an on the tag it says is was desighned for recording.

Except when it's Monster Cables? :)
Sorry, I just had to say that. I actually agree with you about the cables.

Hah!!! You're absolutely right - I guess you DON'T always get what you pay for. Perhaps a better one that fits BOTH situations:
