Former Fabulous Thunderbirds guitar slinger Nick Curran succumbed to the onset of oral cancer-he also played with Gary Primich and other numerous bands, but the Lowlifes were what I beleive to be Nick's finest outfit.

I am glad I had the chance to seee Nick play before he passed-he truly was a guitar slinger and also a great singer-he will be missed-play on brother-

I was sorry to see this on another forum earlier. Nick was a relatively young man and it was a sad shock to think he's gone. a really great guitarist and singer!

I am really sad to hear this. Nick was a fantastic player and singer, too. I loved his "Dr. Velvet" especially.... what a great song.
