The Gloth sent me a brilliant recording of himself playing live solo stuff. I asked for his permission to share it.
The only problem is I can't find any conversion software that will let you convert it from Windows Media Audio to MP3 or AAC AND let you put it in an MPEG2 container. Apparently, as dull as it is, that's what you have to do.
I've spent ages on this and, despite being pretty computer savvy, I give up. Anyone know to do it?
I should add that I'm using XP Home, which might lack some of the stuff found in more fancy versions.

Edit: I should add that I've tinkered with Audacity, AVS and God knows what else, but with no success. Also, I'm not gonna spend big bucks on such an infrequent activity.

I've tried all of the obvious things Jon.
My version of Movie Maker only lets you save it with .MSWMM extension. Still, I took YT's instructions literally. I'll try uploading the .MSWMM version.
I've spent hours googling for something that will convert from audio and contain the file in a video codec thingy; they all only seem to convert from one form of audio to another, or one form of video to another. Audio files on their own don't work on YT; it'a a video sharing website.

mickil, you said "My version of Movie Maker only lets you save it with .MSWMM extension". That is true but then when you publish the video to a file on your PC it should then convert it to a .wmv file.

I was being a bit of a div with Movie Maker - well, impatient I suppose.
I'm still trying to figure out why the program won't put the end credits at the end; it does seem a bit counter-intuitive. Maybe it's me.
Anyway, I'll post a thread when it's done. The Gloth really is quite a tasy player and well worth a listen.
