Has anyone bought/downloaded the backing trax from this site?
$37 for 50 pretty high quality professional and jammin' trax as far as I can tell, plus a bunch of "bonuses" for learning/playing blues guitar, if that's of interest.

I think at one point there was some speculation that these trax were Lawrence Fritts' tracks - which I have - re packaged and marketed (under Lawrence's "use them any way you like" stipulation), but I don't think they are, from the sound of what I sampled on the website.

I'm tempted to get them. But $37 aint' "nothin'", so I'm interested to know if anyone has them/likes them, etc.

I've been using that Russian backing track site for over a year now. They do indeed have some quality tracks in a variety of styles.

Another site I use for good tracks, lots of them , is this one,http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/.

For guitarists, primarily, but there is lots and lots of space for the harp player to vamp and work on a lot of ideas and techniques against a quality, blues rock setting. Also, another good site is http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com/play/jamtracks/blues_backing_in_am.htm. Lots of different pop and rock styles, a good place for expanding the contexts of the chops you already know and for coming up new ideas. Of course, the guys over at the fantastic Harmonicaboogie.com have backing tracks created by the site users, and there are always surprises on their constantly updated board.
