Thanks for doing that Ted. I played to Swinging Steve some time back and since doing it I could never stray far from what I did originally. I got stuck but now you've shown me another way.

Thanks tookatooka. I've decided that the unamped version of "Swinging Steve" here is the weaker of the two; what I need to do is practice playing specifically unamped to get a better tone and have an idea of how to phrase and build a solo. The amped version, I think, is more in the groove, better use of spaces between phrases, and less reliant on stock riffs. Thanks for listening.
