I played a farmer's market gig this morning, percussionless, and I got a chance to use the Premier reverb tank through my Mouse. I cranked the Premier tube preamp stage all the way up and didn't have the Mouse cranked at all. So any overdrive in the harp sound is tube overdrive--even harmonics, the preferred variety--even though I was playing through a solid state amp. It's a pretty low-key gig, so Alan and I kept the energy contained. (This recording was made at 8:15 AM, the third song of the first set.) I like the reverb sound. I'll do this again.

Nice. Been meaning to do a version of this for a long time. I like it so much I just bought the tab/video of Adam's.

I'll try it on the Sub30 though because my overblows are sort of like cat squeels..

Stunningly good, whatever the sound, it would always be stunningly good!
Nothing to see with the very technical Larry Adler's version on chrom.
Now, yes, there are overbends...

That's God awful early in the morning to turn out such a great sounding rendition of that song! I really enjoyed that. Could hear everything on the harp really well and so nicely played...and sung. Solid accompaniment, too.

I love the acoustic sound so much more than heavy electric because I can hear all the nuance, which to me, is really important. I guess heavy electric, and driving foot drums wouldn't have gone over too well under those circumstances...

Those merchants and buyers got a treat...the sound was nice and airy, felt outdoorsie - if that makes sense. Was that a "payed" performance? When you think about it, there are a lot of places to perform other then BARS, the farmers market seems ideal to play some music and blues!

I liked that. I think you swing more when you aren't playing the foot drums.

Green markets/farmers markets are really fun, laid back gigs to play. There are usually a lot of cool people and they're very appreciative.

Really nice job.. that setup puts through your great tone and the reverb tank is more pleasant to my ear than your delay split to two amps.. for this set up there is less tube distortion than using the split to the kay amp and another... it is perfect for the venue and music style. It works particularly well as a shared harp and vocal mic.
most of all, love the way you play and treat the music with love and reverence
