I was there...in the back with Jay Gaunt...This was where Mitch Kashmar totally destroyed my want to play blues as he was just too good for words. He sounded like he was playing through an amp, played amazingly sophisticated and articulate lines, and was ultra-tasteful.

All four of them did a great job playing their style of blues and discussing their approach to playing that style of music.

***I generally don't get star struck, but I had the great fortune to meet Mitch shortly after and couldn't stop complimenting him, lol. Oddily enough, he started asking me about overblowing and had quite a bit of interest in the topic. We discussed some of his technique, but I was so in awe, I can't even remember what he said, lol. I think what made his tone so powerful to me was how he used his hands. Everyone else had such open hands and he was playing like he was cupping a bullet.

At one point he brought out a chromatic at the jam and I am pretty sure I saw a guy leave because he shit his pants.
