Can anyone check to see if Harpmaster covers are longer front to back than Manji? The front is where the your lips touch and the numbers are...the back being the back, lol.

FWIW...on the SUB30, Special 20 and Crossover/MBD covers will fit the screw holes but are very short leaving the back of the reedplates exposed. Manji are longer and almost end at the reedplate.

SUB30 covers will not line up well on a Manji, but Firebreath fit perfect.

I have a Manji and Harpmaste in my hands but no caliper. Covers are very close but it looks like the Manji is about 1-2mm longer from mouthpiece to exit bell. This in spite of the fact that the Harpmaster comb is bigger in this direction. When I set the Manji on the table, Mouthpiece up, it rests on its coverplates and the comb is about 1/2 mm off the table. The Harmpaster rests om it comb and the coverplates are about 2mm off the table.

Hope that helps.

BTW, looking through my kit I discovered I only have 2 professional grade harmonicas, a Seydel 1847 Nobel and a Tombo Ultima. How do I know these are professional grade? They do not have numbers!
