In response to a forum member's request, I have just effected a creaky partial work-through that will allow you to "turn" the forum pages from the bottom as well as the top.
All I did was use the "page source" function of Firefox to reveal the full source coding for the forum homepage, then scroll down through the long and unwieldy mess to find what I believed to be the appropriate code for the "123456789...next" thingy. I copied and pasted that code into the site footer. And voila!
It's not a 100% fix. But if you hit "2" in the footer thingy, the forum does indeed jump to p. 2 of the forum posts. "3" jumps it to three. But none of those jumps actually show up in the footer thingy, which remains on 1--even as the page thingy at the top ascends through the pages.
Also, if you hit "next" in the footer thingy, nothing happens.
But it's a start. I'm sure I left out some tiny bit of code. I know next to nothing about HTML code, frankly, and it's amazing that I got this far.

kudzu,
The issue is not HTML the issue is how the Javascript works with the HTML. Check out what happens when you click 9 on the top PAGINATION (not "thingy") and see how the page numbers scroll and now you see pages 5 through 14. I'll try to take a look at it.

Ryan:
As I said, the bottom pagination thingy doesn't work as well as, or the same as, the top one. But if you hit any of the numbers on the bottom one--1 through 9--you get taken to that page. That, in itself, is a positive improvement. All the rest is stuff that can be figured out. Point is, we're better off now than we were before.
Nacoran is out of town. When he gets back, I'll have him tangle with the thing.

That's great! Glad to see it. One of the bugs I've noticed is that it does not show up at the bottom of the For Sale page.

gene,
This is no bug. The pages of actual threads of conversation are different sets of code then the main harp forum menu pages where Adam added the bottom pagination. He'd have to make the change to this set of HTML as well which would be just as easy.

i think you have an error in your html, adam. when i clicked the "2" link, my browser crashed, all my files were deleted, the lights went off in the house, and my car won't start.
