Well, after owning a really great '59 Bassman replica- built by Steve Clark at SLIGO AMPS- for about 5 years, I made a tough decision. Since I was not using the amp and had no plans that required that much horsepower, I went ahead and sold it. The name of the game here at the Jawbone and Jolene household is fluidity. We wanted a humble little fishing boat and needed to generate some cash to fund the effort. Yesterday found us meeting the buyer several hours' drive from home. We met more or less in the middle since shipping would have been pretty pricey, and what the heck- road trip! The buyer's initial impressions of the amp are good but I knew they would be, it's a very nice amp.
I will miss the amp but with the cash we got for it, we now have almost everything we need to get on the water! 10 foot boat, trolling motor, paddles, etc etc. and this boat fits nicely in the back of our recently-acquired '02 Ford truck as well. So we're almost set!
I still have the old Silvertone 18 watt 1482 model amp, which has been my go-to amp for several years now in the smaller projects I've been working in.

I really should take a leaf out of your book. I've just switched from playing guitar to keys in my band (it's more a ruse to free me up to play some harp) and I'm seriously in need of another keyboard and an amp to handle of job of keys, guitar and harp.
I've got a Heritage Les Paul (made in the old Gibson factory) that's beautiful, but really isn't for me playing wise. I've also got a Fender Hot Hot Deluxe which hasn't been played for 3 or 4 years. Time to man up and get 'em on Ebay.
