I got to see him perform at a Blues Fest 2 years ago, been listening to his music ever since.

Yeah man I played with his original drummer back in the early nineties. He gave me a couple live tapes one of their friends recorded. He played a mean Silvertone slide guitar with a quarter for a pick!
This dude is good!!!! He's like suger blue, but a little more grounded. I don't know? I find it easier to listen to than suger blues. I guess suger blue plays more speed harp than I like.

I've got a "Slippery Noodle Live" recording with these guys on it. I'll have to dig it out. I didn't know John was on the harp. Yank Rachael was on the recording too, maybe the last time Yank was recorded before his passing. When they took the stage John said something like "Mom get your head up off the table inferring that she was drunk. Gotta love them Hoosiers!
