I said this on Facebook but it deserves repeating. You helped me decide. I have only recently begun to play amped after about 3 years of being into harp. Over the last few weeks I have been looking into pedals and Lone Wolf captures my attention early on. Now I am sure they will be my choice. ---------- Bend it like Ricci - Me
Sorry, I'm more into the acoustic stuff now. It's partly your fault Moon Cat. That vid in Cali with the monster guitar player completely did it for me.
One question though: How would the forthcoming Flat Cat pedal work acoustically? I'm familiar with compression playing funk guitar, but I don't know how this would affect a clean tone.
Sorry. I say 'enjoy'. What I mean is, weep, cry, vomit, praise the Lord, quit playing, restart playing with renewed vigor, beat the wife and kids a couple of times, ask for forgiveness, realise your own humanity, and generally strive for better.
That compressor sounds better than the bbe by a good margin.
Are you actually using the tone+ in your chain as that pedal strikes me as the least useful? Owning it and the other pedals. It is tge one lonewolf pedal I don't use. It is great for using with a less bassy rig but I get more desired treble or bass with cup variance.
I don't use a harp attack but carry one as a back up amp for emergencies.
The harp break and octave are the two I use most. The octave brings a bassman when you use a kinder afb to harpking land. Makes the notes tear a bit. The break makes the face of the note cut a lot.
The sonic stomp cleans up the bottom giving definition.
I don't use the bass function on the break much at all. I set the drive maybe 75% and enough volume to to goose the rig a bit the octave sounds tremendous with higher pitched harps.
What happens with the kinder and the lonewolf feedback in the same chain? I use the kinder for it's tone and slight antifeedback. Kinder plus octave plus bassman is 410 harpking tone in two pedals without needing a harpking. With the octave set at 8-9 o'clock and tge afb just starting to change tone I get a sound I dig plus tons of feedback resistance.
Been using the break and octave for months. Totally worth the money. The tone helps a blues jr sound alright is the best thing I see for it. But for that money buy a Princeton instead.
My experience with the break and octave is their usefulness in varying sound. If you play more than a few songs the tools help keep tone fresh
I know it's pretty bad recorded sound and then I heard it through another filter of my computer speakers, but I actually really liked your sound with no effects MC. Like, if you played and it sounded like that I'd be very happy with the harp sound. ----------
