Did you do a video on 3rd position blues scale what notes to use during the 4 and 5 chords of the 12 bar blues or do you just stay on the blues scale notes mostly and dont follow the changes? Would this be the correct logic to figure this out.
C harp 3rd postion key of D 4 chord is G so one could play cross harp blues scale on the 4 chord? For the 5 chord change that would be A (guess that would be 4th position on a C harp? Is this the right way to think about it? If yes, Do I need to study 4th position to play the 5 chord change?
4th POSITION: A C D Eb E G A Low Octave: -3’’ +4 -4 +4o +5 +6 -6 Mid Octave: -6 +7 -8 +8’ +8 +9 -10 CHROMATIC: -3 +4 -5 <-5 +6 +7 -7

Hemi, Currently there is no video concerning this issue. I say, do both. Play it with the blues scale of the key, play the chord specific blues scale, play a combination of both. In my opinion, blues is fully chromatic, meaning you can play any note on the keyboard in any key if you know when and how.
Listen to other blues players that you like. Transcribe their solos, figuring out what they play and when. If you like the lick, imitate and extrapolate.
For your A blues scale, do not forget the notes lower than 3 draw double bend that are in the A blues scale.
