This feller seems to be on a GM - probably buttered up a little w/tuning tweek, etc. pretty nice!

Thanks Frank. I know you intended to draw attention to the harp player using a Golden Melody, but you've uncovered a real gem here.

@Frank: Don´t know whay you thinks that GM is "buttered up"? It sounds just like a straight OOTB harp to me. The four GM´s I´ve owned have been very decent OOTB harps.
The playing is good, of course,(but I know you could do that stuff quite satisfactorily -- in fact so could even I).
The players name is Joe Nosek, and the band, judging from this and their home page has really taken on the notion of sounding exactly like the later Muddy W bands. Very competent, no doubt, but not that interesting. Could be a fun act live, though.

Ed. As the music from their hompepage keeps streaming I hasten to add: they are not exclusively a Mudddy W copy cat act. In fact rather diversified, which makes them a bit more interesting to me.

Sounds like he tuned the "equal" out of it...thus lets the chords sound more buttery in a blues context.

I saw that guitar player at a Mark Hummel event!!! Guy is GOOD.
