check out this new amp by Mergili---has anyone ever played through or heard one of these?...has that old school sound. I want one

Made in Austin, TX. Quite spiffy looking and sound very good. Very expensive. Other alternatives for the money or cheaper which will sound at least as good if not better and be more practical for gigging, if you play out. If memory serves correctly you could buy a SJ Super Cruncher, if you can find one, for less and have twice the amp for harp. If you play at home or garage jams its a very impressive piece of furniture.

Greg Izor is an Austin resident and may have some sort of arrangement with Mergili. I've seen Greg play a couple of times and never seen him actually use one of these Mergilis. Izor is a tremendous players by the way.
