Maki Yamaguchi is Suzuki’s test player in the factory base at Hamamatsu. He can do everything: top class tremolo and chromatic playing, high-level overblow diatonic, bass and chord harmonica…
He’s recorded a couple of excellent sound-clips demonstrating the jazzy potential of the new Suzuki UltraBend 10 hole harp. One is a jazz blues along the lines of “Straight No Chaser”, very tasty; the other is a series of scales rising chromatically. Check them out in the SOUND GALLERIES section here:
