when you got to the tongue-slaps section it got pretty lively and that would be a good way to start your gig. Although, I don't see what's so funny about this?
you should mix it up, and add something like this to get people laughing!
Hi harmonicanick, I don't have any minor harps just stuck with the majors at the moment.
Hi oda, yes I've heard that before, it's pretty good but I wouldn't have an accomplice to bounce off of unfortunately.
I realise after hearing it again that it ain't that good at all in retrospect but I'm gonna play around with the idea a little longer to see if I can develope it further. It's either that or Irish fiddle music which I won't be able to learn in time.
Thanks for the input. Much appreciated. ----------
Another neat trick, especially if children are present, is to have one of the cheap tiny 4 hole harps which you can conceal in your hand. You tell your audience that you have just perfected being able to play your (normal)harmonica by blowing through your ear. Of course you must explain that to blow through your ear you have to shut your mouth and hold your nose so that all the air is directed to your ear. Whilst holding your nose the concealed mini harp is close to your mouth and with the other hand your real harp is alongside your ear. Works a treat with the youngsters.
Of course the trick should be used to lighten them up for some real harp playing.
