Great playing, Filip! I've seen a video where you play this on a chromatic with a big band but I think this is better. In which position would you play this on a standard richter? Just asking because I have been playin it in first but it sounds a bit dull (my playing, that is) ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube
Pistolcat - I would play it in 1st pos on a Bb diatonic, I think it lays good there. There original key for Stella is Bb, this version I added here is G, so try to playalong with a G diatonic. ---------- http://www.filipjers.com
Nice playing, very interesting demonstration of possibilities, despite I HATE "Stella by starlight" ((: ---------- Excuse my bad English. Click on my photo or my username for my music.
Filje It just makes me feel uncomfortable. I feel that chord progression is illogical (for me) and melody just follow this chord progression and randomly goes back and forth. I feel that tune is overcomplicated without any bright idea. Just my feel. For my taste "Giant Steps" in pure genius tune despite very complex chord progression. ---------- Excuse my bad English. Thanks for your answer Boris! I took me some years to learn Stella by starlight and I am still working on it.. There is so much to discover! ---------- http://www.filipjers.com
