A new preview track from our forthcoming album! Something different this time, a slow folk-style ballad. I'm trying something here I usually don't do that much: playing almost with no bends at all, just clear notes and arpeggios with hints of classical & folk.

...And the cheesy wind effect, of course.

Beautiful!
I don't know what the ballad's about, but it sounds like it has a happy ending. That's refreshing!

No, the wind is not cheesy.

Very nice, must say that I like the part where you bend into for intonation best, though. That makes the harmonica so much more vocal.

Pistolcat, you might be right. Without any bends it could sound even colder. This is a Scandinavian style folk melody, though. Maybe I was after a kind of ornamentation often heard in this type of music. It's something to experiment between those sweet bluesy licks.

Mm, yeah! Also where I wrote "bend into for intonation" I meant inflection. Typo :).

Here's what I meant, badly done with just my telephone mic

Swedish folk melody in third pos:

Without any bending at all:

I apologise for the crappy playing and quality...
