A minor. Sounds like a D harp to me.

Junior Wells-band in A minor-Junior uses a D harp in second position.

Here's nice version in B minor. An A harp in 3rd position covers it.

Makes sense. My D harp must be flat because I couldn't quite match the song on the hoodoo man blues cd. Thanks for everyone's input.

I've done this tune with many different bands over the years (BTW, you should check the original version of this tune by jazz guitarist Kenny Burrell) and have done this in a number of different keys, tho Am is the most common and I've even done this in Cm using a chromatic in 3rd position and even in 1st position as well (that requires tons of slide and knowing where every note is on the instrument, something too often players don't bother learning).
