Last night of SPAH, 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.: I had the honor of jamming with harmonica greats Todd Parrott, Brandon Bailey, Sam Friedman, and Jay Gaunt. I recorded bits & pieces (unfortunately none with Jay) and condensed them into this one video.
Note: Todd Parrott asked me not to include much of his piano-playing, as he says he "doesn't play piano"--so I limited those sections to just brief 30-second excerpts. But he's being far too modest. Check him out around the 2-minute and 5-minute marks: he sounds damn good!!
This was a great way to wrap-up another great SPAH! It was so much fun jamming with Todd Gates, as well as these other great players - one of the highlights of SPAH for me.
