I'm fortunate to play with a very good guitar player. But, if I could get exactly what I wanted...

I'd take bits of Alex Shultz and Kid Andersen, slather on some Albert Collins and put it in a Keith Richards shell as a preservative and for riff-a-liciousness.

Yep. Just need to figure out the science behind making this happen.

The Kid is great! He is a musical genius. He plays a number of instruments well. Plus, he does a great job at his recording studio

If I could "grow" a guitar player...

...he'd play just like Rusty Zinn.

Kid Andersen for sure. Kid Ramos. Maybe some Jeremy Vasquez, out of Colorado Springs. He played with Al Chesis and the Delta Sonics.

Matthew Stubbs, too. Johnny Moeller. Hollywood Fats. Lots of great blues guitar guys out there.
