Apologies if this is not new Lester Butler footage but i spotted it today. Its a rehearsal/composing of 'Business' in the streets with his band 13.

There used to be some awesome rehearsal vids of Lester ansd 13 on youtube but they seem to have been taken down so enjoy this while you can.

Fabulous! Thanks sharing Ant. No, I haven't seen this one and can't get enough of LB because he left us way too soon.

always loved his tone
considering he played thru
a stock re-issue bassman
and quite often
a stock hohner blues blaster
he played so simply
but quite powerful stuff.

There is a DVD available if you can find it and are willing to pay the price. It features Lester Butler with 13 at the Moulin Blues Festival 1998 as well as three songs from the Moulin Festival 1993 with The Red Devils plus the rehearsal posted above. There are also guest spots by Billy Branch, James Harmon, and Joe Louis Walker, amongst others.

The Red Devils were hugely popular in Europe. They even played Pinkpop in Holland, one of the largest and longest running festivals in the world.
