Hi guys, I thought you might like to hear about something I did on saturday. A customer of mine who used to play Harp in a band but who has'nt played for years asked me to pull a stunt at his wedding reception. The plan was I would crash the room in full Blues Brother gear acting all pissed and barge onto the stage interupting the band and start to play a terrible version of Stone Fox Chase ( no problems doing that!) then he would shout " hey piss off son this is a private party and anyway you're playing that all wrong" to which i would reply "oh yeah so you recon you can do better like" and he would then pull out a Harp and lay into it. Everyone there was in on the joke except the Bride who had no clue that he could play Harp, Classic! Anyway I turned up at 5pm but had to hang around outside for the speaches to finish, then horror of horrors the Bride came out onto the street to get a card and gift out of her mates car so I duct into a litter filled doorway and then had to act like a Hobo so that when I made my entrance she would think "Oh crap it's that drunk from outside". So there I was slumped against the wall drinking out of a hip flask filled with water and acting all pissed but I must have been a bit to good cos some police clocked me and did a U turn and came back down!, I thought I was gonna get busted but right then I got a text from the Groom saying "Do it now" turns out it was'nt his wife who had come out at all it was some lass from another reception in the same building so I had spent 10mins standing in a litter strewn piss stinking grief hole for nothing! Anyway in I went and it all worked out as planed, the Bride was well and truely stiched up and delighted that we had took the trouble to do it and then me the Groom the grooms dad and the Best Man jamed a raucus 12bar blues and everyone was up and clapping along, It was really great and another memorable experience that I would never have had without Adam and all you guys, so thanks everyone I had a ball!
