can you rate my harp playing? I think i'm doing well. Here's a link to the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohjz54E1HYs&feature=channel_pag It's me and my friends busking for comic relief. The video starts with green onions, then we have a quick paranoid jam, then we make up a song using the mannish boy riff. The harmonica playing starts at 5:10.
Enjoy!

Harp was good, nothing inspiring, but no major floors. The singer was not the best, I think he was the weak link in the band.

He was the best we had sadly. I wasn't trying to be inspiring, just comping with the rest of them

I think you played as tastefully as anyone would on a one-stop groove.
I used to do Bad To The Bone with a friend - similar groove. I was always tempted to do more than was necessary. You hold back well; not too much fancy stuff. ---------- 'If it sounds GOOD to you, it's bitchen; if it sounds BAD to YOU, it's shitty' - Frank Zappa

You did a nice job on the harp. It is easy to fall into trying to get more interesting on these drone grooves, and you do it well.
John Lee Hooker music is what I like to use to practice this kind of back-up harp--what do you use?

What i use is john lee hooker, mississippi john hurt, lighting hopkins, son house, anyone like that. BUT, as a slide guitarist, this drone stuff comes naturally to me. Cheers Stefan Ward
