Hi again guys/gals.
OMG I'm watching the "Princes Trust" Rock Gala 2011 on Sky Arts1. Don't care for the royalty whatsoever but this caught my ear as a potential tune to play with. What dya guys think? Just thought it had a different groove than we normally go for. God i long for a "woodshed" as Adam says, but, hoping to move to the mainland in 2 months if all goes well on Friday!! Anyhoo. here's a link to the song in question. I just thought it'd be quite nice with some harp (saxy, horn type sound)

It's OK by me

I grabbed my C harp, played some 3rd position D minor riffs, and I was fine with it.

Cool Jim,
Yeah, the concert last night was quite shocking really.
The house band (session guys I presume) were OK, tight and all that but lacked any real feeling / emotion. Basically robotic backing for some pretty awful sounding artists. Josh Stone was ok and Mark King with the above was groovin but most didn't seem to have any passion on the night. Oh Well. To top it off, Mr Townsend played Acoustic solo with a good few mistakes on the guitar and vocals. This was their "Grand Finale" and TBH he looked uncomfortable and bored. Maybe once the OLYMPICS are over we'll see some older rock and blues documentaries came back. Yay. Keep on Harpin.

Toby
