When my late neighbor and friend purchased the house across the street he started cleaning out the growth in the back yard so he could have a better view of the canal. Much to his surprise he found a statue of Buddha in the growth under the cypress tree's. He's since passed and I just sold the house. The new owners were asking me some questions the other day and made the comment that they didn't know what to do with "that". I said you don't want Buddha? They said no and I could have it. I was excited but I knew I couldn't budge it. I hired some people to dig it up and place it on the patio until we could figure where we wanted it. Holy smokes it's heavy and on top of that it was mortared onto a 32" concrete pad. I've been chipping away at the pad and I'll separate it down to the original cast. This makes me think of my old friends and makes me smile.

Do Buddhists like to indulge in the sweat leaf or are they just naturally happy?

Student: Master, I have finally achieved detachment !
Buddha: (whacks student with a stick)
Student: Why did you do that ?
Buddha: To detach you from your detachment !

Nice story. I like yours too, Sp20. Would you believe the captcha is saying 'mu' right now?
