I’m assuming by the video title that this is a Howard Levy student. He calls himself Blinking Sam and he’s pretty good. What caught my ear was the ending. In 3rd position, he walks down the Blues Scale, from 9B down to 2D** (whole step bend), then back up to the 7B to finish. At this tempo, it takes some skill to articulate those notes and he pulls it off.

Thats a nice bit of harpin, it shows with determination and practice combined together with an enthusiastic attitude you can get to this level, i'm just a lazy old fart who wants the easy way out, this guy is good, thanks for the vid.

Notice how he plays the notes created through bending techniques as NOTES on the lower octave. It almost sounds as if he is in 2nd position.

I love seeing this awareness coming from the new wave of players spawned by HL.
