Hi,

After having recently listened to fast blues by Steve Weston -that I didn't know- I'd like to ask you for some interesting and effective YT vids you would know: I want to tackle these techniques for a while, but don't know whereby to start.
So if you know good links, don't hesitate, thank you.
This is Steve Weston's music that hit me (at around 4:45)

Hi laurent2015,

This is a great video! The way I would work on this style is simply using this video, working lick by lick.

You could rip off the audio track using various software (I use VLC), slow it down using for ex. Audacity or the Amazing Slowdowner software), to get a clear breakdown of the lick, and record yourself to hear how close you are.

If some licks remain mysterious, I would ask here :)

Dave Barrett has tons of material about that kind of tongue blocked rythm and percussion playing. Its a lot about those slaps and pulls. You'll need to put some real effort into your microphone skills too.
