I got my first manji yesterday and i have to say i am now converted to these puppy's... it arrived and was a bit airy but after 5 mins gaping to my playing style it plays amazing. The 4,5 and 6 OB are right there with no squeaks or funny noises. Truly amazing harps and i advise people who haven't tried them to give them a shot.
Now a question..Do you think it would damage the comb if i were to widen the screw holes so that the comb fits flush with the reed plates at the front? or would it be better getting a custom comb?

Nah.. won't hurt a thing... Just use a bit that is barely larger than the hole and it would be best if you used a drill press so you know you are drilling straight down and with constant speed. Either way, it is a pretty simple procedure... ---------- Greg Jones 16:23 Custom Harmonicas greg@1623customharmonicas.com 1623customharmonicas.com
