Katherine Stevens has been my drummer, when not doing the 1 man band for the past 16 years. We don't play much together anymore with her living between the Berkshires MA and Reno NV. She was by a bit ago and we recorded a quick session. We hadn't played together in over a year. We set up and rolled the tape. Katherine plays quieter than any drummer I have played. Jimmy Carl Black, the original drummer in Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, who played with me on and off for 8 years in austin, was a close second. Katherine and I were about 5 feet from each ohter. PLaying quiet is the way to go! Here is the session with all the songs-both with acoustic and electric guitars, harp. Walter
