I'll be up around port Macquarie, 25-28 October, on tour with the MUddy Turds. Still organising a couple of gigs, hopefully bellingen/coffs end. Maybe Armidale..
I've never been to that area north of Newcastle, so I'm interested in checking it out. Any recommendations for a tourist who is also a bluesharp afficianado?

Hey Dave, I'm on the Central Coast and most of my advice would be surf and bush related as I love the area immediately North of Port (Mac) for its natural beauty....!

I think Leatherlips mentioned the blues music scene in Bellingen area a while back. I know we're angling for a gig there or Coffs. Thought I might try and check something out if I have a moment.
I may just need options to get away from my band mates at times. They are all 20+ years younger than me. We have different needs.

Last time i was in Coffs, about 5 years ago, there were a few good music spots but of course might of changed by now.Nice town though.

Well picked Jehosophat. I asked about accommodation: "hotel room at port mac. The rest will be floors and mattresses at friends places." I'd rather pay for a room and go to bed when I choose. I don't recover like I used to.
