As I play along to backing tracks quite often I'm finding that trying to accompany a track for the full duration is difficult to achieve. Let's face it, improvising for a full four minutes really is a long time in reality. Especially for us amateurs.
I've found that by shortening the track to between 1'45" and 2'30" is just about manageable.
I normally edit the track to take a chunk out the middle so I have the regular start and ending.
Do any of you guys do something similar?

Hey Tooka - that works...or.... You could change harps and play a couple of progressions in 1st then back to 2nd then jump to 3rd position. That breaks it up...or....sing a few verses. ---------- If it ain't got harp - it ain't really blues!!!!
